Our partnership with Heartsupport

HeartSupport was part of the vision of Mindblown from day one. This nonprofit exists inside the music scene, creating judgment‑free spaces where fans can talk honestly about anxiety, depression, addiction, self‑harm, and more. Their teams show up at festivals and online with peer support, practical resources, and real conversations so people don’t have to struggle alone. A portion of Mindblown’s proceeds goes directly to HeartSupport so they can keep doing that work for our community and for fans around the world.

What We Built in 2025

In 2025, Mindblown launched as a first‑of‑its‑kind metal, punk, and mental health benefit festival in Glens Falls, NY, built from scratch in just six weeks. A first‑time team of collaborators pulled together underground bands, local vendors, nonprofits, and volunteers to prove what a small city can do when community power and clear coordination line up.

By the numbers:

  • 600+ attendees packed the venue for an all‑day outdoor festival.

  • 12 bands, 20 vendors, and 3 nonprofit partners brought the music, art, and resources.

  • Over $7,500 raised for mental health and suicide prevention, with $10,000+ circulated back into the local creative economy.

  • More than 200 people engaged directly with HeartSupport’s on‑site peer support activation and Support Wall.

Media outlets and local storytellers documented Mindblown 2025 as a grassroots renaissance for punk, metal, and mental health in Glens Falls, highlighting the way music, nonprofits, and small businesses came together for a day of hope and heavy music.
